The Gospels repeatedly report that Jesus: "went up on the mountain by Himself to pray" or "departed to the mountain to pray" and "Then He spoke a parable to them, that men always ought to pray and not lose heart." The Apostle Paul wrote to Timothy; "Therefore I exhort first of all that supplications, prayers, intercessions, and giving of thanks be made for all men, for kings and all who are in authority, that we may lead a quiet and peaceable life in all godliness and reverence. Dove Christian Center provides an opportunity for those especially interested in intercessory pray to meet two times during the week apart from the regular worship and ministry services. Friday at 7:00 A.M. intercessory prayers meet for a period of one hour again to intercede for those requests that have been submitted and for concerns as the Lord leads. Prayer works!
